SMS, with its SMS|Spa product has been automating spas as part of its integrated hotel & resort systems product for nearly ten years. During the same period, SpaSoft has developed a reputation as the market leader in stand-alone spas technology. The acquisition makes SMS the #1 provider of spa management solutions worldwide.

Pursuant to the terms of the transaction, SMS has acquired all the assets related to the SpaSoft product, including the facilities located near Toronto, Ontario, Canada, which will become SMS’s third largest operations and Rresearch & Ddevelopment facility in North America. Also included in the acquisition are the variety of software licenses and support agreements currently managed by clubessentials.
